Nature Quest Summer Camp at Shamona Creek Park

Half day camp
Monday thru Friday
Nature quest summer camp is perfect for your budding explorer. Campers will spend each morning exploring the creek and looking for aquatic wildlife. They will plan group games and make nature crafts. Each camper will create a nature guide throughout the week, learning about native plants, animals, insects and hiking safety.

What to bring

Campers should bring ample water and a snack. (We will provide granola/ trail mix or fruit daily in addition)
Sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, hat.
Weather appropriate clothing and consider a spare incase they get wet in the creek.
A towel.
What to expect

We are family run and like to keep things small. Campers will get time to explore and enjoy nature while also learning about native floura and fawna. They also will gain confidence in their skills outdoors.

mammals such as gray squirell, raccoon,white tailed deer,
birds such as american cardinal, mourning dove, blue heron
insects suchs as honey bee, monarch butterfly, lady beetle,
aquatic animals such as bullfrog, eastern painted turtle
and hiking tips and safety and so much more.
